Pedro J. Brull was born in Puerto Rico and is now living in Central Florida. He
graduated from the school of fine arts at the Puerto Rico institute of Culture,
where he obtained a degree in fine arts.
For many years he was the graphics art director for Telemundo’s
W.K.A.Q.* TV station in San Juan Puerto Rico. His paintings form part of a broad
number of private and public collections throughout New York, Florida and Puerto
Rico. A collection of masterfully created portraits forms part of the Casa Alonzo
Museum’s permanent collection.
The portrait of Juan Quirindongo (right) is a commissioned portrait,
created for the permanent collection of the Juan Quirindongo School in Puerto
Rico. In addition to creating wonderful works of art, Pedro J. Brull has taught
at the Casa Alonzo Museum and has been of inspiration to countless young artists
in Puerto Rico and Florida.
Among the awards he has received, Pedro J. Brull was honored with the First Prize
in painting from Disney's Animal Kingdom†. Art at the Park in Lakeland granted
him with a special award.
